Speakers

Curt R. Rom, University Professor, Associate Dean for International Education Dr. Rom is an alum of the University and a past Board member of the Arkansas Alumni Association. He is a professor of sustainable and organic horticulture, and local food systems. He serves as the Senior International Officer helping to develop and execute the international strategies and programs for the University.

Peter Ungar, Distinguished Professor of Anthropology and Director of the Environmental Dynamics Interdisciplinary Graduate Program Dr. Ungar’s research focuses on feeding ecology of wild primates and how environmental change over deep time triggered our evolution. He is active in international recruitment for the environmental dynamics PhD program he directs, and in supporting international students on the Arkansas campus.

Karl Anderson, Assistant Director for International Recruiting Karl is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas and serves as the Assistant Director for International Student Recruitment. In this capacity he helps to build and nurture relationships with overseas educational advisors, non-governmental agencies, as well as secondary and post-secondary schools to help bring more international students to the University.
