Speakers

Kim Needy, Dean for the Graduate School and International Education

Dr. Needy is in her fifth year as the dean of the Graduate School and International Education. She is also a national leader in industrial engineering. She is Past President of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, a Fellow of the American Society for Engineering Education, a Fellow of the American Society for Engineering Management, a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society and a member of the Society of Women Engineers.

Karl Anderson, Assistant Director for International Recruiting

Karl is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas and serves as the Assistant Director for International Student Recruitment. In this capacity he helps to build and nurture relationships with overseas educational advisors, non-governmental agencies, as well as secondary and post-secondary schools to help bring more international students to the University.

Cecilia Grossberger-Medina, Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications for New Student & Family Programs

Cecilia Grossberger-Medina of Fayetteville is the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications for New Student & Family Programs at the University of Arkansas. She is a native of Cochabamba, Bolivia, and has lived in Fayetteville since 1999. She is married to Amilcar Medina. They have three children, Rodrigo Medina-Grossberger, Brenda Nicole Medina-Grossberger, 2016 BSHES, and Camila Alejandra Medina-Grossberger. She earned a master’s degree in communication from the University of Arkansas. Grossberger-Medina is one of the founders of the Latino Alumni Society and is currently the president of the society. She is a member of the Staff Senate, serves at the Alumni Board of Directors and is an annual member of the Arkansas Alumni Association.

Lynn Mosesso , Director of Graduate and International Recruitment and Admissions

Lynn Mosesso, a graduate of the University of Arkansas, has been the director of graduate and international recruitment and admissions since 1988. Her experience includes the development of sponsored student programs, international credential evaluation, articulation agreements, and international student recruitment. She was appointed head of the committee to establish the criteria, policies, and guidelines for the Bolivian Tuition Advantage, established in 1995. She administered the program until the creation of the Office of Academic Scholarships. Lynn is an international student advocate for accessibility to higher education in the USA.
