James H. White Doctoral Fellowship Doctoral students who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership at the University of Arkansas $1,000/year; can be combined with additional sources of funding in accordance with university policy Awarded for up to four years
Benjamin Franklin Lever Fellowship Graduate students who are underrepresented in their chosen graduate degree program who do not receive other tuition or assistantship awards; on-campus students only Graduate tuition paid for degree related course work Awarded for the duration of the graduate degree program
Harry and Jo Leggett Chancellor's Fellowship Graduate students involved in research of significant interest to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission; preference given to doctoral students $12,000/year; can be combined with additional sources of funding in accordance with university policy; pays graduate tuition for up to 15 hours (spring/fall) and up to 9 hours in summer Awarded for up to four years (doctoral students) or two years (master's students)
Graduate Assistantship with 50% appointment Graduate students appointed to teach courses, conduct research or support other areas in the student's major field for 20 hours per week Stipend, set by department, plus in-state classification for tuition purposes and tuition paid for up to 15 hours/semester and 9 hours/summer; discounted health insurance Renewal varies by department
Graduate Assistantship with 25% appointment Graduate students appointed to teach courses, conduct research or support other areas in the student's major field for 10 hours per week Stipend and in-state classification for tuition purposes Renewal varies by department
*All recipients must maintain academic good standing and make satisfactory progress towards graduate degree completion to be eligible for award continuation/renewals. Additionally, should a student graduate, change degree programs, or leave the university, funding may be terminated.
