The Mario Martinelli Educational Assistance Fund shall be to provide financial assistance to students from the Republic of Panama who are pursuing higher education at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. The goal of the fund is to (1) help Panamanian students stay in school when they encounter sudden personal emergencies that significantly change their financial situation or (2) provide assistance to further Panamanian students’ educational opportunities. Emergency situations could include, but are not limited to, death or serious illness of a parent or spouse or other extenuating circumstances that hinder a student’s ability to continue in school or secure employment. Non-emergency education opportunities for support could include, but are not limited to, curricular and co-curricular experiences such as study abroad travel, service learning and research.

Office of Multicultural Student Services

Housed within the Multicultural Center in the Arkansas Student Union, this office provides intellectual and cultural enrichment, programs, services and facilities. The center strives to create an environment that recognizes and respects cultural differences and facilities learning and appreciation.

Safe ride

The mission of the Safe Ride Program is to provide students with a means of safe transportation from any uncomfortable or inconvenient situation; Safe Ride is not a taxi service.

Information Technology Services

This is the main web site for IT services, email account information and set up, links to technology and multimedia resources, web resources. Their staff can assist students with questions related to email accounts and other IT problems or services. This site also offers access to information about on campus computer labs, policies, and technology tools.  It also provides information about the Student Technology Center (CTR) located in the Arkansas Union across from the General Access Computing Lab.  Students may contact the IT Help Deck by phone at 479-575-2905.
