Tipton Family Academic Enrichment Fund

The Tipton Family Academic Enrichment Fund was established to assist graduate students enrolled in either the Master of Education in Higher Education or the Doctor of Education in Higher Education programs at the University of Arkansas with expenses related to their academic enrichment. Examples include, but are not limited to, travel expenses and expenses related to research.

Students may apply for an award not to exceed $500 by submitting:

  1. A budget for planned expenses (travel, research, etc.).
  2. A statement from the student explaining how the funds will be used for the student’s academic enrichment.

Requests for awards of more than $500 will be reviewed, but will only be granted for exceptional expenses and if funding is available.

Terms & Conditions

Students must have been admitted to the University of Arkansas and be degree seeking in the Master of Education in Higher Education or the Doctor of Education in Higher Education programs at the University of Arkansas.

Students must be enrolled full-time during the semester in which the funds will be used.

Application and Deadlines

Proposals may be submitted to the Office of Graduate Fellowships and Student Support, GEAR 213 or you may submit an online application , any time during the year. They will be reviewed by a selection committee, and the student will be notified by email of the decision.
