Health Insurance
Graduate assistants on 50% appointment (20 hours per week) or more are offered the benefit of health insurance, with approximately 66% of the cost of the Student Health Insurance plan paid by the University and 34% paid by the individual. While spouses and children may also enroll in the plan, the 66% of the cost benefit applies to the graduate assistant only.
