The Academic Appeals Committee of the Graduate Council will hear appeals from departments/programs to waive a Graduate School rule. The Academic Appeals Committee is also the hearing body for academic grievances for graduate students as outlined in the Graduate Catalog. The membership of the committee will consist of the Associate Dean of the Graduate School (who will serve as the chair), the senior voting members of the Graduate Council from each academic college, the member representing interdisciplinary programs, and two members of the Graduate and Professional Student Congress who serve on the Graduate Council.
