    1. Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Physics, Proposal to modify the Ph.D. degree in Physics (PHYSPH) by
      1. ) Deleting the concentration in Space and Planetary Sciences
      2. ) Adding concentrations in Astrophysics, Biophysics, Neuroscience, and General Physics
      3. ) Changing requirements for the candidacy exam
      4. ) Changing and reducing course requirements
    2. College of Education and Health Professions, Eleanor Mann School of Nursing
      1. ) Proposal to modify the MS degree in Nursing, Nurse Executive Leader concentration (NURSMS-EXLD) by changing course requirements
      2. ) Proposal to modify the MS degree in Nursing, Nurse Educator concentration (NURSMS-NUED) by changing course requirements
    3. College of Education and Health Professions, Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation, proposal to modify the Ph.D. degree in Health, Sport and Exercise Science, Health Behavior concentration (HSESPH-HLBV) by removing HHPR 699V as a required course and adding three hours to the requirements for electives (from 33 hours to 36 hours required).
    4. College of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering, proposal to modify the MS degree in Operations Management (OPMGMS) by removing OMGT 5873 (Organizing for Change) as a core course and replacing it with OMGT 5623 (Strategic Management)

  7. New Business, Transfer credit policy: Our current transfer credit policy requires that 24 graded graduate course hours be earned at the U of A; this effectively means that students in thesis-based programs that require 24 hours of graded credit and six hours of thesis cannot take advantage of transfer credit. Should this requirement be changed? Attachment B.
  8. Course change reports from the University Course and Programs Committee (UCPC) (Attachment C).
  9. Graduate faculty recommendations for graduate assistants: A preliminary list is attached (Attachment D). A complete list will be distributed at the meeting.
